If you do the math, you'll notice that the peak of COVID-19 quarantine fell around my Senior year of high school... which is when Wannabes was supposed to go onstage.  It was tough, but with the help and co-direction of other seniors from my cohort, we were able to edit together a virtual production.  Editing the audios of fifteen students with various interpretations of rhythm together is no joke... but we did it.

As a result, we got a lot of support from the community back home.  Later that school year when hybrid schedule opened up, a chapter of Students Demand Action launched at school, and we were able to facilitate discussion and bring activist work back to school.
